The Presidential Lounge originally served as a four room apartment for visitors to the Inn. President Theodore Roosevelt was among ten US Presidents to visit the hotel, staying in the suite in 1903. The suite later served as the setting for the wedding and honeymoon of Richard and Pat Nixon. Today, portraits of each of the visiting Presidents adorn the walls of what is today the hotel’s premier cocktail lounge. |
