Amistad Suite
Beyond the beautiful layout and center water fountain of the Garden of the Sky Courtyard, you can spy the Amistad, or friendship, Dome. Walk into the Amistad Suite, and you will immediately see the lovely hand painted mural on the inside of your domed ceiling. A full-size concrete fireplace also accents this suite, which was dedicated to Anne Rice as it served as the inspiration and backdrop for her book, Angel Time. The author spent a great deal of time at Mission Inn, staying in this suite where the book’s action took place.
